Falling Tree has produced an audio tour commissioned by Kent County Council and Acoustiguide for use by motorists as they tour the Battle of Britain Trail.
Sites visited include Hawkinge airfield, the Battle of Britain
Memorial at Capel-le-Ferne and Brenzett Aeronautical Museum and among
those heard on the tour are curators from the Battle of Britain Museum
at Hawkinge, pilots such as Wing Commander Geoffrey Page and Air Chief
Marshall Sir Christopher Foxley-Norris who fought in the battle, PM
Winston Churchill, Waafs, ground crew, local residents and the RAF
Central Band.
The CD tour, available in English and French, is narrated by Dan Snow and written and produced by Alan Hall. It was launched at Hawkinge on Monday 6th June 2005.
