significance of bridges - connecting peoples, cultures and countries
but also underlining differences. She talks to the
violinist Ruth Waterman about the famous bridge of Mostar in
Bosnia and draws upon the poetry of Apollinaire and Emily
Dickinson and music by Bobbie Gentry and Mozart.
