"I listened ... romantic tears sprinkling the ironing, so perfectly did this little half-hour capture the factual and fictional essence of Demy's two key films ... It felt like sharing a dream, a memory.  As it ended I knew more about how the spell was woven ... The joy was hearing it all done with perfect radio manners, a respect for subject and listener intertwined."
Gillian Reynolds, The Telegraph, 19.7.11
