Festivals & Awards Autumn 2009

BBC Radio 4 has entered  Driving into Debt for the Premios Ondas, a radio awards hosted by Radio Barcelona.  Beyond that, we know nothing about the Ondas, other than that it means 'wave', or the type of programming it celebrates!  But congratulations to Arlen Harris and Peregrine Andrews, who were also nominated for a Sony for this feature about repossessions man Mark Caisely in Middlesborough.

Also, more attention for Hark!  Chris Brookes and Paolo Pietropoalo's Canadian version, re-edited for Finland's YLE, was nominated for the 2009 Prix Europa, held in Berlin in October!
