Arlen Harris

Arlen Harris started as a print journalist working on India's largest circulation English language paper, the Indian Express and in England for the Observer and Mirror Group Newspapers. He has produced for the Money Programme, Panorama, World In Action and Dispatches. In 2006 In Search of Black Trafalgar, a documentary about the Black and Asian sailors who fought at Trafalgar for BBC Ixtra, won a silver Sony Award. Over the last year, with Peregrine Andrews, he has produced five more radio documentaries for the BBC. Driving Into Debt, co-produced with Peregrine Andrews and a Falling Tree Production for BBC Radio 4, was nominated for a Sony Award in the news special category, 2009. A Panorama that Arlen co-produced in 2008 was selected by the BBC for entry in the Amnesty Awards.
