John Wynne

John Wynne is a sound artist whose work can be experienced in galleries, museums and public spaces as well as on the radio. Hearing Voices, his 'composed documentary' based on highly endangered click languages in the Kalahari Desert, was made for Radio 3's Between the Ears slot, and won the Silver award at the 2005 Third Coast International Audio Festival in Chicago. Hearts, Lungs and Minds, another Radio 3 commission, was made with materials recorded at one of the world's leading transplant centres and won the Bronze award in Chicago in 2008. He has a PhD in Sound Art from Goldsmiths College, University of London and is a senior lecturer at the London College of Communication.
