Katie Burningham

Katie is a former MA Radio student from Goldsmiths College, University of London, and before that a Classics graduate from Oxford. She joined Falling Tree in 2008 and her first production was a portrait of an all-girl Led Zeppelin tribute act called Lez Zeppelin. Katie has subsequently produced two programmes for BBC R4 about cycle couriers, City Messengers and City Messengers: Still Pedalling? as well as working on several editions of Something Understood. For the BBC World Service, Katie has recently produced a series about the role of the bicycle around the world called The Bicycle Diaries, and is currently working on a number of new commissions for BBC Radio 4 and the World Service. When Katie is not working at Falling Tree Productions, she volunteers with Bulgarian children's charity ZOV UK.
