Rachel Hopkin

Rachel Hopkin has been a freelance radio producer since 2006 during which time she has worked for the BBC, CBC in Canada, Radio Netherlands, WNYC in New York and American Public Media, among other organisations. Her recent work includes several series of Musical Migrants - portraits of people who've moved to a new place for love of music - for BBC Radio 4; Emerald Streams - a series for Newstalk in Dublin about the twin themes of Irish music and migration and Chamame - a documentary about a folk music genre from the north of Argentina - for the Australian Broadcasting Company.

Previously, she was a radio producer at the BBC for 6 years and made many different types of features and programmes broadcast on Radio 4, Radio 3 and the World Service. She is currently living in Las Vegas, USA.
